Another day before an assignment was due, so a lot of working in the room, but because Professor was kind and shortened the assignment we still had time to do other things. :)

| Lunch from the 24-hour FamilyMart down the street. These lunches were common on the days before assignments were due! I kind of miss FamilyMart now.... |
So this day ended up becoming shopping day, but because I had already bought so much stuff I really tried to limit it just to the rest of my gifts-to-buy-for-people list, rather than just buying things for myself...(oops. haha.) Because of my necessary stinginess though, I think this was the best haggling day for me on the trip. I finally got the hang of haggling! On the last day we went shopping. xD
 |
| Shopping in the metro station of the Science and Technology Museum! One of our favorite places to shop. :) |
 |
| Our place to regroup after shopping was at the KFC, so I grabbed a peach egg tart while I was there! YUM~ |
I also witnessed this huge fight break out in the mall between a male customer and female store employee. It was really terrible! It was actually a very physical fight and it just made me cringe to see the man kept shoving the woman...although to his defense she was pretty vicious too. Quite the terrible sight.
Later on we split up and my friend and I went to the Xujiahui (徐家匯) area to look at an electronics store. Turns out that there was a huge bookstore on the top floor! We ended up spending the most time there. :)
Note to self: Next time I'm in Taiwan, buy the bilingual Chinese and English novels for learning Chinese. I would've bought them in China, but the simplified Chinese was just unbearable for me. But I bought so many stickers in that bookstore! Sticker win. :)

| Super cute Asian stickers!! :D |
We had a really late dinner in this hole-in-the-wall place literally right next to our motel. It was probably around 10:30 pm at this time. :P
 |
| 豬肚麵- Very good, but this might be because I was starving by this time. Also, Wakefield gave me all of his 酸菜 (sour pickled vegetables). haha. :P |
